AKC Grand Champion Silver Yorkshire Terrier Stud – "Charlie"
AKC Grand Champion Silver • Grand Champion of Costa Rica • Proven Sire
Meet Charlie
Charlie is the cornerstone stud of our program — a striking AKC Grand Champion Silver and Grand Champion of Costa Rica whose structure, coat, and presence exemplify the Yorkshire Terrier breed standard.
With his high tail set, balanced proportions, and flowing blue-and-gold coat, Charlie consistently represents the elegance, confidence, and soundness expected of a true show-bred Yorkshire Terrier. He has been bred and titled internationally and in the United States, earning recognition under respected AKC judges and establishing himself as both a successful show dog and a proven sire.
Charlie has produced beautiful, correct offspring with strong breed type, making him a valuable stud for breeders who share our commitment to preservation breeding.
Show Career & Ring Retirement
From the beginning of Charlie’s campaign, the goal was clear: Westminster.
Charlie was officially invited to compete at the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show, and he will make his final appearance in the AKC show ring on February 2, 2026, showing with the Yorkshire Terriers. This appearance marks the culmination of his show career and his retirement from the ring.
Following Westminster, Charlie will be cut down and fully transitioned into home life, where he will enjoy life as a cherished house dog while continuing his role as a selective stud for the next generation of Yorkshire Terriers. Retiring him at this stage allows us to preserve his health, coat, and overall well-being while responsibly carrying his legacy forward.

Charlie is offered on a limited, approval-only basis to breeders who are committed to producing Yorkshire Terriers that meet the AKC breed standard.
He consistently passes on:
Correct structure and balanced movement
Traditional AKC blue-and-gold color
Confident yet stable temperament
Strong breed type suitable for show or high-quality companion homes
We are selective with the females we accept. While we are happy to work with breeders newer to the show world, our priority is pairings that have genuine potential to produce structurally correct, show-quality offspring. This protects both Charlie’s legacy and the integrity of our breeding program.
We do not accept:
Non-traditional or out-of-standard colors
Breedings focused on extremes rather than structure
Pairings that do not align with preservation goals
Health & Genetic Screening
.
