Planned Litters & Thoughtful Matching with Essence of Grace Yorkies
Welcome to Essence of Grace Yorkies, a preservation-focused Yorkshire Terrier breeder located in Southern California.
We specialize in AKC Yorkshire Terriers from champion bloodlines, bred with intention for health, temperament, structure, and lifelong companionship.
Our puppy waitlist is designed for families who are planning ahead and value ethical breeding practices, transparency, and thoughtful placement.
✨ What Is the Current Wait Time?
Due to the limited number of puppies produced in our program and our focus on quality over quantity, most puppies are reserved in advance.
Wait times vary depending on gender preference, litter size, and timing.
Male Puppies
Families interested in a male puppy can currently expect an estimated wait time of approximately 3 to 5 months, depending on upcoming litters and availability.
Female Puppies
Due to higher demand and fewer females per litter, families interested in a female puppy can expect an estimated wait time of approximately 6 to 12+ months.
Our next planned litter is expected in May 2026, with puppies anticipated to go home around August 2026. Availability from that litter will depend on the number of puppies born and the gender ratio.
Families who are open to either gender may be matched sooner.
Waitlist Placement & Matching
Placement on our waitlist is influenced by the date your application is submitted, as well as your preferences and overall fit.
While earlier applications are given priority, we reserve the right to make final placement decisions based on each puppy’s individual temperament, structure, and suitability for the home.
Our goal is not just to place puppies in order, but to ensure each puppy is matched with the right family for long-term success.
